eargym - Creative Lead & Sound Designer
Having starting as a Sound Designer with eargym last year and from having a keen interest in learning new skills and stepping out of my box, I am now leading their product development for both the app and their games. The project is launching this year and relies heavily on realistic and clinically accurate audio design.
A brush With Nature -
Re-Recording Mixer
A brush with nature follows an artist on his journey to find one of the largest elephants on the planet 'Tim', the documentary is in aid of the born free foundation and was selected as part of the New York Wildlife Film Awards last year. My role was to re-dub the entire film and mix for multiple platforms.
Lightning -
Re-recording Mixer
The award winning short film lightning follows the blunders of a young musician when he meets a young deaf woman at a caffe. The film was selected for several film festivals and was screened at the BFI in London as part of the Defining Deafhood screening. I do also understand the irony of being a sound designer at a deaf film screening.
Silence -
Sound Designer & Foley
Silence is a short film about a young man struggling to define himself beyond his past. Tom suffers with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, following the trauma of an event during his childhood. When he seeks comfort from friendship with a younger boy as a way to escape the real world he is, instead, taken right back to the childhood he once had. My role was to assist the re-recording mixer with foley, sound design and dialogue editing.

Sound Designer & Mix
This quirky short animation follows 'Dave the IT guy' on his journey from quitting his job and starting his own brand of Hawaiian shirts. Collaborating with a team out in holland this animation was designed to be fun and playful and I designed the sound to mirror this narrative with organic sound design and modern UI effects. Also, sourcing alpaca sound effects was particularly difficult.
The Third Wave -
Sound Designer & Music
This modern and colourful animation was a promotional video for The Third Wave, a micro-dosing course. The Vibrant colours and the brand itself needed a futuristic style of sound design with most of it being designed on synthesisers. The original contained a basic music track but after hearing the SFX on their own the client decided to let the sound design become its own soundtrack and allowed me to be as creative as possible.
